Pre-Service Prayer Meeting
The primary goal at the pre-service prayer meeting is to pray for the Sunday Service. If there are key programs, events and moments occurring in the coming week/month these can be great things to pray for too.
If you are leading the prayer meeting, your goal is to invite the others in attendance to pray with you. As you briefly introduce each point, encourage people to pray with you. It can be helpful to encourage them that they are praying well throughout the prayer meeting.
The pre-service prayer meeting is a space to engage in corporate prayer, and is not for teaching or exegesis. If you do bring any points of encouragement that are relevant to the prayer points, please ensure they are short, based in Scripture and that they lead directly into corporate prayer.

Additional notes:
If you feel prompted to share something outside these points or outside our core vision, mission and values, please discuss this with the Senior Pastor (or another Pastor not in your immediate household) beforehand. Please know this is not a measure of control, but of protection, to ensure that everything we bring is of sound Biblical and Theological understanding.
Please do not provide an opportunity for anybody who isn’t a credentialed Pastor to speak or share anything into the microphone during this time without first speaking to the Senior Pastor. This is in-line with our Safe Ministry Guidelines that apply to all services.
