Hospitality Team - Volunteer Role Description

Purpose of the Role

The Hospitality Team helps create a warm and welcoming environment by serving coffee, tea, and other drinks to people attending church. Through simple acts of hospitality, the team helps people connect, feel comfortable, and enjoy fellowship before and after the service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other drinks.
• Handle basic drink sales and payments where required.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming hospitality area.
• Assist people with drink options and answer basic questions.
• Restock supplies as needed throughout the service.
• Assist with setup before the service and pack down afterwards.
• Follow food safety and hygiene practices.

Time Commitment

• Serve 1–2 services per month
• Arrive 45 minutes before the Sunday service
